The clinical content is genuinely excellent — no argument there. Dr. Spear and his faculty are brilliant educators. But at $500/month plus workshop fees, the total investment is substantial.

My issue is that while I'm a better clinician after 2 years with Spear, my production hasn't increased proportionally. The comprehensive treatment planning approach they teach often leads to case presentations that scare patients with large estimates. Not every patient wants or can afford full-mouth reconstruction.

I've also found that the online platform, while well-produced, doesn't get updated as frequently as I'd expect for the price. Some modules haven't been refreshed in years.

Great for clinical development, but don't expect automatic business growth.

I've been a Spear member for 6 years and have attended 3 workshops at the Scottsdale campus. Without exaggeration, Spear has made me a significantly better clinician.

The online platform is the best clinical CE I've experienced. The case studies, treatment planning modules, and faculty discussions are incredibly thorough. Dr. Spear's approach to interdisciplinary treatment planning has completely changed how I diagnose and treatment plan.

The Scottsdale workshops are worth every penny — hands-on learning with world-class faculty in a beautiful facility. Yes, it's expensive, but the clinical confidence I've gained has translated directly into better patient outcomes and higher production.

The study club platform is also excellent for team learning and building referral relationships with specialists.

This is for clinicians who want to be the best at clinical dentistry. It's not a business coaching program.
